Educational growth of the younger generation is lopsided. I have often heard experts and academicians commenting on the valuable and increasing culture of education in India. But from concept to application we still mirror the west - understandably so, with hundreds of years of colonial rule, adaptation to 'Indianness' has been a slow process. But it is time that modern texts quickly adapt to new India concepts, knitting culture and science in subjects such as renewable energy, GIS, climate change, etc.
