an NGO, began in 2003 as a Society registered under
the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
The range of activities of LIGHTS include
- conducting
field surveys,
- research
and analysis,
- documentation,
- outreach
and capacity building programmes,
- exhibitions
and scholarships for meritorious girl children.
A group of like minded, research oriented people,
belonging to different government as well as private
organizations are part of this NGO.
