India and Pakistan with worst scores in South Asia in Healthcare Index

In the World Healthcare Index released by Lancet Medical Journal, India’s rank is 134 among the 195 countries surveyed between 1990 to 2015. China has the best score among India’s neighbouring countries, while India fares worse than its minnow neighbours – Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In terms of overall scores in providing healthcare, India and Pakistan have the worst scores in South Asia.
