In 2017 there were 38.4 million emigrants from South Asia and 16.5 million from India. The USA was the most popular destination for immigration.
Abstract: The author argues for the deployment of humanitarian philanthropy which a trans-South Asian can exhibit to support sustainable development in the countries of their origin particularly to achieve the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) objective through contributions in the fields of education and health.
